Hand Hygiene Australia has developed several documents to support the improvement of hand hygiene in settings where specific activities and associated work flow make it challenging for health care workers to determine when hand hygiene is required.

The purpose of the below documents is to provide guidance on appropriate hand hygiene practices during particular activities (and the associated process for auditing), in alignment with the principles and requirements of National Hand Hygiene Initiative.
