Providing Feedback As An Auditor

As a part of the 2018 ACIPC HHA Workshop, the HHA team developed a presentation on giving feedback as an auditor. The title of this was:

“From passive listeners to activated feedback recipients”

HHA were kindly provided some of the content for this workshop from the Israeli Ministry of Health, as a result, this video is unable to be shown publically. As a GSA you are welcome to use the video for training purposes with your auditors, but are not permitted to distribute.

For Unsuccessful Participants

Participants that scored <70% in their aggregate score from the training workshop will need to complete further follow up theory training and the alternate DVD Quiz to the one completed during initial training.

Participants who score between 70 - 79% in their aggregate score need to complete Comprehensive quiz number 1

Participants who do not pass the Comprehensive quiz number 1 will need further theory training and will then need to complete Comprehensive quiz number 2

Workshop Training Resources for Pacific Islands

These documents are designed by HHA as a recommended guide on how to conduct auditor training in your organisation within the Pacific Community. 

The talks have been adjusted to reflect the requirements of a hand hygiene program in the Pacific. There are variations in audit documents and set audit requirements which differ from the content created for Australia/New Zealand. You are welcome to download the powerpoints to use for training. These powerpoints can be adjusted to aid better understanding within the local setting e.g. photos, language, examples etc. However, we suggest that you do not alter the assessment, or data collection documents.

Auditor training should only be conducted by validated Auditor trainers. 

1. Pre-Workshop Requirements

Direct all workshop attendees to complete the pre-workshop requirements - this is a mandatory component required to be completed prior to attending further auditor training.

3. Presentations for training:

Auditor training should only be conducted by validated Auditor trainers. 

Auditor Training could consist of a number of defined sessions, including:
